Little Rob is the perfect choice for the solo paddler who wants to be able
to paddle on a moments notice. This boat is 12' to 14' long, lightweight
and capable of manoeuvring in smaller places. Of the three boats in the
strip canoe series, (Bay Hawk, Companion and Little Rob), this is the
simplest to build.
The first few stages of building Little
Rob are virtually the same as the
other canoes. However, after the boat
is stripped and a layer of fiberglass is
laid both inside and out, you are close
to finishing up the trim work and
getting out to paddle.
The trim work on Little Rob is less
sophisticated and therefore less time
consuming than both Bay Hawk and
Companion.

I have put together the Epoxy kit that I use during the building of these boats on the videos and have
made them available here for your convenience. These kits have the hardener, the right resin for
laying up glass cloth, the thickening agent for your gluing needs as well as calibrated pumps for
measuring the hardeners and LV resin. Choose the right kit for your working environment.
