We could tell you how great our videos are but here is what a customer had to say.

I received the DVD today and would like to make a few comments.
First of all, I did not get any work done this afternoon. I could not
stop watching the DVD's! They are spectacular and far better than I
expected. Believe me when I tell you, you did a great job! I am a
high school industrial arts teacher and should know. The
demonstrations and instructions were very clear and on a level
that a high school student should be able to comprehend. The
quality of the video and audio was excellent. Be sure and pass this
on to the folks that helped produce this instructional series.
While I have many years of woodworking experience and a deep
love for it, I was not sure about taking on the task of building a
canoe. What little bit of doubt I had is now erased thanks to such a
brilliantly created video. Keep up the great work and best wishes
to you, your family, and business associates in all that life has to
offer!

All of the boat building videos from Sandy Point Boat Works are
specific in nature and produced so that you are not left guessing.
Each 3 plus hour video is specifically produced to take you through
every step of building that exact style of boat. The DVD's are broken
into menus that allow you to read from the book and then see it done
on the video. These videos will not leave you hanging.
Bay Hawk is a classic double paddle decked Canoe.
At 15+ feet, it is designed for one person and will
carry over 350 lbs of people and gear. The front and
rear compartments are water tight and the video will
show you how to cut and install a deck hatch. With
quality appointments like gunwale caps and steam
bent deck trimmings, this boat will make you swell
with pride. Paddles like a kayak, but with the ability to
move around.
This video covers all open paddle canoes on this site.
An open paddle canoe is a traditional canoe with
gunwales, breasthooks, yokes and seats. We have
open paddle canoes for performance paddling, solo
paddling, wilderness tripping on flat water as well as
river canoes. Browse the Canoes to find the right
one for you.
Rounding out the series on strip canoes there had to
be a video on a light weight solo canoe. What better
design than the time honored classic Rob Roy style
canoe. This is Sandy Point Boat Works rendition of
the Rob Roy, called Little Rob. It can be build
anywhere from 12 to 14 feet allowing you to decide if
it is small a portable you are looking for or something
you can take on that extended camping trip. If you
like to paddle alone at a moments notice, this boat is
a great choice.
