Bay Hawk Duet
This boat is by popular demand. The Bay Hawk is a very popular boat built in over
a dozen countries and paddled world wide. The biggest complaint was that it could
not carry another person. Bay Hawk Duet is the answer to that problem. This boat
was specifically designed to enjoy all of the hi performance paddling capabilities
as well as stowage and touring capabilities of its little brother Bay Hawk but for two.
This boat paddles fast and straight and can keep pace with kayakers with a
greater level of comfort and maneuverability.
If you have already built the Bay Hawk, then you have a
head start on this boat as it is built virtually identically. If
you have not then be sure to buy the video with the plans
and I am sure that you will enjoy the same success that
many others have had. This boat will turn some heads.
This boat has a developed keel line and a low profile
which means you will paddle straight with little effort
and not be pushed around by the wind. Like it's
namesake, this boat is paddled with a kayak paddle
and employs backrests for comfort. With nearly 9
feet of decked stowage, you can take an extended
tour while being sure that your belongings will stay
dry. The stowage, if built properly will also supply
ample flotation for a safe trip.
